How to reach Pawna lake camping from Mumbai?

By Road: There are two routes to reach the Pawna Lake camping site from Mumbai. One is the Dudhiware Khind Route. It is approximately 108 Kms in distance. It is the shorter route; however, the road conditions are a bit tricky at places. The other route is via Kamshet, which is approximately 122 Kms in distance. This route is considered to be smoother as well as more scenic.

By Train: You can travel from Mumbai to Lonavala by train. From Lonavala, you can either get onto a shared jeep or taxi to reach Pawna Lake, which is approximately 30 Kms from there. Trains leave from Mumbai to Lonavala, almost every 40-60 minutes.

By Bus: There are frequent buses from Mumbai to Lonavala throughout the day. From Lonavala, you may have to hire a taxi or shared jeep to reach Pawna lake.

Pawna Lake is 60 km from Pune and can be reached in 2-3 hours. You can drive via Kamshet or take a train to Kamshet and hire a private jeep to the campsite.
