1. David Scott Trek: One of the easy treks in Meghalaya is the 16-kilometre David Scott Trek, which takes 5 to 6 hours to complete. It takes you to an elevation of 4892 feet and begins in Mawphlang and ends at Lad Mawphlang. Named after a British official, this walk takes you through beautiful rivers, waterfalls, and lush landscapes. The Umiam River and Simpanghang Falls are two of the most notable attractions on this trek that you must separately visit.

2. Umden Village Trek: The Umden Village trek is one of the easy treks in Meghalaya that is 18 kilometres long and takes only a day to complete. On this walk you reach an elevation of 340 metres whilst enjoying sweeping views of waterfalls and lush valleys. Here you can witness Eri Silk or “nonviolent silk” production and enjoy a meal prepared by the villagers, served on plaintiff leaves.

3. Dawki Trek: One of the easy treks in Meghalaya is to trek Dawki’s border town which is around 8-10 kilometres and takes only half a day.
