Bijrani, just 2 km from Ramnagar, a short drive through a buffer zone takes you to a tapestry of sunlit “chaurs”, streams lined with dense Sal forest, and hidden waterholes. A walk through the woods leads to a small complex featuring statues of Sita, Rama, Hanuman, Durga, Ganesha, and a Shivalinga. The carved pillars and a headless Ganesh suggest that it was once a shrine from the Valmiki era.
