About Trek to Asherigad Palghar:
Situated at a 2 hours drive away from Mumbai, the Asherigad Fort has gained popularity among trekkers for being one of the best places to embark on a short trekking tour. Embark on this exciting trek with your companions and wander through the off beat path to reach the top and appreciate the beautiful views on the top.
About the activity:
- The timings of the trek are from 6:00 AM in the morning to 7:00 PM in the evening.
- Get picked up from the following pick up points in Mumbai in shared transfer and start travelling to the base village in the morning.
- Reach Khodkona (base village) and meet with your guide that will be assisting you throughout the tour.
- After a short briefing, start trekking to the fort for two hours and reach the top, explore the fort and spend some time replacing yourself.
- Start descending to the base village and relax for some time.
- The activity includes meals such as breakfast, lunch, and other refreshments.
- Start your journey back to Mumbai and end this experience on a happy note.
Note: The timings may vary as per traffic conditions or individual's pace during the activity.
How to reach?
Reach Palghar Station on the Western Railway line of Mumbai. Direct Trains are available or else you can opt to come to Virar and then change the train for Palghar and opt for Sharing Rickshaw or Van to Khodkana village which lies 1km inside from the highway. You can also reach the base village via private transport by taking the NH 8 highway.
You can also opt for pick and drop facility, to and from Mumbai and avoid all the hassles of reaching the activity location.
