What are the timings for Singapore Zoo Jungle Breakfast?
This unique jungle breakfast with animals is open from 9.00 am to 10.30 am. And the animals appear between 9.30 am and 10.00 am. During this session, one can experience one of the exciting moments with real animals, and share their dining space with them.
Just like other places, here the staffs too follow their timings strictly and expect the same from their visitors. Tourists are requested to be present at least 15 minutes before the starting time to finish the formalities (if any). Please note that the last seating for the buffet is at 10.00 am.
This award-winning breakfast program gives every visitor a surreal experience, which can’t be erased from their lifelong memories.
How many animals are there in Singapore Zoo Jungle Breakfast?
There will be totally 3 – 5 Orangutans present at the dining space, welcomes you to have a delicious breakfast. Here, you can find at least one mother Orangutan, and her three or four cubs. All are very energetic, funny, and adorable. They will imitate you while you’re eating and also do some crazy stunts.
Some of the animals make weird sounds, and that is nothing but communicating with each other. Hence, one cannot easily take eyes off them as they are extremely attractive. At the end of the session, you will be getting cool pictures of animals interacting with you and the entire experience.
How to reach Singapore Zoo Jungle Breakfast?
By MRT – If you’re taking the North-South MRT line, you can take the train to Mandai Lake Road, which is 647 meters away, and it takes only 9 minutes walk.
By Direct Bus – There are direct buses operating at different locations. If you hop on to anyone, it will take you straight away to the Singapore Zoo. The ticket fare is relatively cheap when compared to other modes of transportation.
Self Drive/Taxi – It takes approximately 30 minutes drive from the city to the Zoo. There are two different routes as given below and you can choose the most suitable one.
Via Central Expressway (CTE) from the city
• Take the CTE toward Seletar Expressway (SLE)
• Continue onto SLE towards Mandai Road
• Take Exit 8A on SLE onto Mandai Road
• Turn left onto Mandai Lake Road
Via Pan Island Expressway (PIE) from the city
• Take the PIE toward Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE)
• Continue onto BKE toward Woodlands
• Take Exit 7 on BKE onto Mandai Road
• Turn right onto Mandai Lake Road
What are the different ticket options?
There are two different tickets available as given below:
For adult – S$35
For child – S$25 (the age group is between 6 and 12 years)
For children below 6 years of age, they can have the complimentary breakfast.
Guests attending Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife are required to get a separate admission ticket to Singapore Zoo. Even though the reservation is available up to 60 days in advance, the visitors are requested to reserve their seats at least 24 hours prior to the visit.
Can we take photographs of the animals?
Yes. You can take photos with your favourite animal and share it with your friends. Since it is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, you can literally be with the Orangutans and spend time together. You can seize those fascinating moments and fill your camera spaces. While taking photos, the tourists are advised not to use flashlights as it cause discomfort to the animal.
Apart from that, the staffs will also take exquisite photos, which is worth getting. After seeing those photos, you are sure to get stunned with the animal’s expressions and their amusing behaviour.
How long is my visit expected to last?
The total duration is expected to last for 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this time, you will be enjoying the most delicious recipes, including both local and international cuisines. The animals come and stay for half an hour. This unmatched chance allows you to dine with animals such as orangutans, cotton-top tamarins, and slithery snakes.
This 1 hour and 30 minutes duration include only breakfast session with the animals and tourists cannot visit the entire Zoo.
