Sea Life Park Hawaii Tickets overview

About Sea Life Park Hawaii:

Sea Life Park Hawaii is located on the windward coast of Oʻahu, near Makapuʻu Point in Waimānalo. Established in 1964, the park functions as both a marine mammal facility and a seabird sanctuary. It uses a flow-through seawater system to support various species, including Hawaiian monk seals, green sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, sea lions, and seabirds. The location offers clear views of nearby landmarks such as Koko Head, Hanauma Bay, and Mānana Island. The park works with several conservation and rehabilitation programmes focused on native marine and coastal life.

Visitors can observe and attend scheduled feeding sessions, presentations, and educational briefings throughout the day. These take place at designated areas such as the Shark Cave, the turtle hatchling station, and the penguin and sea lion enclosures. The sessions are conducted by trained staff who provide information related to species behaviour, environmental needs, and conservation practices. In addition to general access areas, the park offers optional programmes that involve direct interaction with selected animals. These include dolphin swims and shark snorkelling sessions. Participation in these programmes requires separate booking but includes access to the rest of the park. The Aloha Kai Luau is also held on-site. It includes Hawaiian music, dance performances, food service, and activity stations. This event is available as part of a distinct ticket package.
