- Flash photography and videography is not allowed inside the Gallery. Only still photography is allowed, that too for non commercial purposes. Camera charges are not included in your National Gallery Singapore Tickets, you need to pay an extra amount.
- There is no particular dress code to enter the gallery, but one may carry something to keep them warm as the temperature is set on low to preserve photos from any damage.
- Small strollers are allowed in the gallery.
- Wheelchair facilities are available at the gallery. One can also bring motorised wheelchairs inside the gallery, but it should be of the standard size.
- Sketching is also allowed in the gallery but only on sketchbooks that are not larger than 8 ½ x 11 inches (22 x 28cm).
