About Kinner Kailash Trek:
The Kinnaur Kailasha (locally known as Kinner Kailash) is a mountain in the Kinnaur district of the Indian state Himachal Pradesh. Kinnaur Kailash has a height of 17200 ft and is considered sacred by both Hindu and Buddhist Kinnauris. The beauty of Kinnaur comes from three of the world's grand mountain ranges - the Zanskar, the Greater Himalaya, and the Dhauladhar, whose views this trek will cover. The grand parikrama begins from Kalpa via Triung valley and back to Kalpa via Sangla valley. How to reach Shimla-
By Road:
For those of you who are planning to travel Shimla from Delhi by road the total distance, you will cover will be 342.8 km. According to your convenience, you can take the Outer Ring Road towards GT Karnal Road. If you plan to travel by bus you can take an overnight air-conditioned luxury bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Buses go in the morning or later at night but timings can vary from season to season.
By Air:
For those of you who are planning to travel by flight then Jubarhati, which is about 23 is the nearest airport. There are regular flights going from Jubbarhatti to Chandigarh and Delhi. You can easily get a taxi from the airport to get to Shimla.
By Train:
For those of you who are planning to travel by train then Kalka is the nearest railhead which is connected to Chandigarh and Delhi by regular trains. You can take the Kalka Shatabdi, which goes from New Delhi Railway Station to Kalka Railway Station via Chandigarh.

Trekking shoes are one of the most important aspects when it comes to having a pleasurable experience. While choosing the shoes, go for the ones which have proper grip, are durable, waterproof and lightweight as well. Various famous brands like Quechua and Woodland sell similar shoes at varied prices.
Before going for the Kinner Kailash trek, Make sure to carry warm and comfortable clothing as temperature can drop, pack good quality trekking shoes, slippers and extra pair of socks. It’s advisable to carry sunscreen lotion or any other skin moisturisers as the sun at the top can be harsh. Water bottles and energy bars/snacks are advisable. A Flashlight (with spare batteries) will help once the sun goes down and it’s always smart to carry insect repellent and emergency medical kit.

The Kinner Kailash Shivling trek will take to the heart of one of the most mythical abodes of Lord Shiva, which is a 79 foot vertical rock in the Kinner Kailash mountain range. On a clear day, one can see the Shivlingam which changes color during the course of the day.
The base of the Kinner Kailash trek is the pretty village of Sangla which is around 230km from Shimla. You can either opt for transport to Sangla from Shimla with us or hire a private taxi. Alternately, you can take a bus from Shimla to Sangla.
By Air: Shimla is well connected to Delhi and other cities of India by air. Air India runs a daily 7:45 am flight from Delhi to Shimla. You can also fly to Chandigarh or Delhi and take a taxi or bus to Shimla from there.
By Rail: If you are traveling by railways, then Kalka is your station. From Kalka, drive to Shimla which is an hour and a half journey. Buses and private taxis are easily available on this route.
By Road: There are daily overnight buses for Shimla from Delhi from Kashmere Gate ISBT and take about 11 - 12 hours.
