By Air: The nearest airport to the lake is the Gaggal Airport which is around 14 km away from the Kangra Valley. The airport is connected to Delhi and after reaching the airport, you can take a cab to the lake.

By Train: Alternatively, the place does not have any direct train connections. However, you can easily take the nearest Jalandhar railway station. The Amritsar Shatabdi express will connect you directly from New Delhi to Jalandhar. On reaching Jalandhar, you take a cab to Kareri lake.
