By Air: The Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest. It is at a distance of 269 km from Joshimath. Therefore, you cannot travel to Joshimath by air from Dehradun. You need to take the frequently available buses or taxis to reach Joshimath.

By Rail: Rishikesh is the nearest railway station from Joshimath. It is connected to Joshimath by national highway 58, and you can traverse the distance of 250 km in 9 hours using a local taxi or bus. Rishikesh is well-connected to most of the major cities in India by train.

Normally we take 18-22 people in one batch including male and female. We need minimum 12 people to run a programme departure but for the customized trip group size doesn’t matter.

Do you rent skis?

Yes, complete sets of ski gear: skis, boots, and poles will be rented to you and the cost is included in the fee. However all personal items / clothing must be brought by you.

What will happen if I am injured?

After you are rescued, you will be taken to the Joshimath hospital first. Depending on the severity of your injuries, we may determine that you must travel down to the Deharadun hospital immediately via ambulance for further assessment and treatment. If you require one of our team members to accompany you to the Deharadun hospital, you will be charged an additional fee.
