Arrive at the starting location before the scheduled time and get ready for an eco-tour of the beautiful island of Villimalé.
Take a short 10-minute ferry crossing from the hubbub of Malé city to the island of Villimalé.
Meet a member of the "Save the Beach" NGO who will take you on a 60-minute walking tour of the Villingili (now named Villimalé) island and give insights into the conservational challenges faced by the locals there.
Learn about the unique Maldivian ecosystem and the sustainable measures undertaken by locals on the island.
Next, visit the local dive school and meet the special team that supports the reef conservation efforts.
Certified divers can experience snorkelling or diving in the coral nursery maintained by Save the beach.

By Walk: The meeting location is Jetty 5 Malé, which is approximately 850 meters away from the capital city, Malé. It will take you nearly 10-15 minutes to walk up to the location from Malé.
