KidZania Mumbai is an international chain of indoor centres devoted toward family entertainment. It is an innovating amusement park cum learning centre where children can perform the traditional duties of an adult like going to the bank or preparing food or enforcing law and order.

The KidZania centre in Mumbai consists of a realistic replica of a real city- complete with buildings, shops, theatres and malls. It even houses child-sized versions of cars, traffic and pedestrians who move up and down the “streets” of the city replica.

An exciting feature about the place is that the children who enrol there can earn currency known as “KidZo,” which they can deposit in the mock bank in KidZania Mumbai and use it for various activities like buying gifts on the premises.

The children are exposed to practical lessons, real-life situations and real-life experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. It is also a very creative way to learn about practical lessons like money management, production, banking, law and order and much more. Children between the ages of 4 and 16 are allowed to enrol in Kidzania, where they can learn the ropes of adulthood from a very young age.

KidZania Mumbai has over 100 different activities which help children develop useful skills through 60 lifelike establishments in the city. Well-known brands like Coca- Cola, The Times of India, Yes Bank and several others make the experience authentic and relatable for children and helps them in their later life.

KidZania Mumbai Attraction pass types:

There are a total of 4 different types of passes that can be purchased depending on whether it is a weekday, weekend or a public holiday.

1. The Full Day Pass: As the name suggests, the full-day pass allows the children to stay at KidZania Mumbai for the entirety of the day, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays. On weekends and public holidays, children and their parents can stay from 10 am to 9 pm. This is the most beneficial pass which is both economical and entertaining.

2. The Fixed 5-Hour pass: This attraction pass allows the children and their parents to stay at KidZania Mumbai for a fixed time slot of 5 hours. This can be either from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm or from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weekends and public holidays.

3. The Flexi-Hour pass: This pass allows the children and parents to be at KidZania Mumbai from any 5 consecutive hours between 10 am to 8 pm. This ticket can be used to enter any time between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm and stay for a maximum of 5 hours. On weekends and public holidays, kids can come and play for 5 consecutive hours, anytime between 10:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

4. The Last 3-hour Pass: This last pass is for those who wish to stay for a smaller amount of time. This pass has a time slot of 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Children can come and play on the premises for the last three hours before closing time.

How To Reach Kidzania

From Airport?

The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Terminal is located in Santa Cruz. The distance between the airport and Kidzania Mumbai is in Ghatkopar Road is 9 km. There are several taxis for hire lined outside the airport that can take you to Kidzania Mumbai. Mumbai is also known for its well-connected and convenient auto service, and you will also find auto-rickshaws lined up outside the airport to help you reach your destination.

Best Time To Visit Kidzania

Kidzania Mumbai is functional throughout the year. Kids and their parents can visit at any time of the year, and they are guaranteed a wonderful time. What is KidZania?

How does this “city built in scale for kids” work?

The “city built-in scale for kids” is a miniature city built inside the KidZania centre that is complete with buildings, paved roads and real-life establishments like fire stations, police stations, restaurants, banks, etc. Children can participate in over 60 different role-playing activities that replicate life in the real world, which gives them an early insight into very practical activities that are usually not taught in school.
Children can use KidZo, which is their own currency, to learn about banking, finance, investment and money management from a young age. They can engage in makeshift professions and activities such as the theatre, radio jockey, firefighter, nurse and even fashion designer.

What do you mean by role-playing?

Kidzania allows children to immerse themselves in real-life situations and behave as adults, complete with decision-making and money management in a completely life-like fantasy environment. The role-playing aspect of Kidzania lets children understand how the real world works by letting them participate in activities that are for “grown-ups.”

Is there an age limit?

Children between the ages of 4 and 16 are allowed to enrol in Kidzania. The activities are divided according to the age of the children. Children above the age of 4 are allowed to roam without parental supervision, while children under the age of 4 are designated to guided activities where one parent can join the toddler for the activities and role-playing.

What can toddlers do in KidZania Mumbai?

Toddlers who come to KidZania Mumbai can take part in fun and interactive role-playing activities like ‘Happy Deliveries’ where they get to act as delivery executives for famous companies like Pepperfry Furniture, DHL, the Dabbawala, all of which have their own little establishments inside KidZania.
Toddlers also can become policemen, nurses and firefighters in the ‘Serve the City’ program and also enjoy services as a customer by visiting the KidZania Big Bazaar Supermarket and Department Store and even a makeshift YES bank. Toddlers under the age of 4 can play in the RightZKeepers’ House where one of the parents of a toddler can join them for puppet shows, storytime and much more.

What are KidZos? How can I get them and what can I do with KidZos?

KidZo is the currency that is used in place of money in the built-to-scale city in Kidzania. The children can get these by role-playing as working adults who get “paid” in KidZos which they can also deposit in the KidZania YES Bank. All the children are given a cheque worth 50 KidZos, which they are free to use however they please.
They can choose to deposit it in their bank accounts or decide to encash it in the “bank” to make purchases.

Can I buy Kidzos?

KidZos are not for sale. The only way to acquire KidZos is when it is given to the children upon arrival, which they proceed to use according to how they see fit. One can also “earn” Kidzos through work and trade. You can redeem your leftover KidZos at the Department store at the end of the day.

How long can we stay inside the play city?

The duration of and length for which the kids may play in the city depends on the kind of pass that you have purchased and also the day of the week when you are visiting. You can buy attraction passes for 5-hour slots, and also Last Hour passes for a 3-hour slot at the end of the day. Each activity in KidZania Mumbai lasts for an approximated 20-25 minutes.
The goal is to let children take part in a minimum of 7 to 8 activities during each visit. You can also get the Full day pass which allows you to stay from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (and 9 pm on weekends and public holidays).

What are your rules and guidelines?

KidZania Mumbai has a strict and comprehensive set of rules that are to be strictly followed to ensure that the children have the best possible time in a safe and secure environment.
A few fundamental rules include:
-RFID bracelets are provided to parents, children as well as the teachers there.
-No one is allowed to leave without matching their bracelets with their wards or parents.
-Employees, guardians and children are not allowed to remove or take off the bracelet under any circumstances as long as they are on the premises.

Can kids go in alone?

At KidZania Mumbai, all children below the age of 8 can participate with some form of supervision and guidance, even when taking part in a role-playing activity. All the children are given a security bracelet that is paired with their parents. No child is allowed to leave KidZania Mumbai without matching with the parent’s bracelet.
Children above the age of 8 can roam freely as long as they have their security bracelet. If the children don’t require supervision, parents and adults can relax in the Parent’s Lounge while their kids enjoy role-playing in the city.

Is KidZania Mumbai safe and secure for my kids?

Yes, Kidzania Mumbai is very safe and secure as long as the security measures are followed and the rules are adhered to. There are modern safety measures in place such as the paired security bracelet. There are also professional security guards and CCTV cameras all over the premises, including an emergency system and paging systems to ensure the safety of the children.
Able and qualified professionals, who are trained in medicine and first-aid, are always present in all parts of the “city” including the play areas, who carry first-aid kits with them at all times to ensure that no child is hurt.

Can we bring our own food?

No, the visitors at KidZania Mumbai are not allowed to bring their own food from outside. The establishment has a wide variety of food quarters and establishments with multiple food options for those who are looking for something to eat.

Can adults come and play too?

Toddlers can be accompanied by one parent who can enter and be with their child during the role-play activities. Overall, parents are encouraged to be a part of the role-playing activities of their kid and also as spectators in some of the built-to-scale city establishments like theatres, TV Studios and others.
Adults can also relax, watch TV, drink coffee and play games at the Parent’s lounge which is also equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Can adults enter KidZania Mumbai without children?

No, KidZania Mumbai is an entertainment centre which is made solely for the enjoyment and development of children. All the activities are children-centric and designed to help children learn practical lessons, which is why it is not feasible for adults to enter unless they are accompanied by their wards.

Do you have a storage area for our belongings such as strollers and bags?
