How To Reach Diglipur

By Sea

Direct government ship services run 3 to 4 times a week from Port Blair to Diglipur, covering 297.5 kilometres in total. This journey can last for about 8-10 hours, with options for overnight journeys as well for those seeking a leisurely passage. 

By Road

You can cover the 297.5-kilometre distance to Diglipur from Port Blair easily by road. This trip can take up to 10 to 12 hours in total. Take the NH4 or Andaman Trunk Road (ATR), which passes through several creeks and the Jarawa tribal area. Private AC buses and cars offer a more comfortable ride, with stops at picturesque areas like Baratang, Rangat, and Mayabunder. Daily early-morning buses from Port Blair are also available.

By Air

The nearest airport to Diglipur is Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. It is located 300.5 kilometres away. Once you land in Port Blair, the journey to Diglipur can continue by road or sea. From Port Blair, you can enjoy a scenic 10 to 12-hour drive through the Andaman Trunk Road to Diglipur. Pre-booked taxis or buses from the Port Blair bus terminal offer a direct route to Diglipur. Alternatively, you can take a government ferry from Port Blair to Diglipur. This route takes around 10 hours, with options for overnight travel.
